No spring rolls on the menu (was there at dinner, don't know if the lunch menu is different). So I had a garden burger less aioli. Not a great restaurant for vegan dining, but at least there was something. Blue bambo and 369 Gourmet Burrito are in the same concourse. They might have slightly more healthy and varied options.
Upon reflection, I never asked if the veggie burger was vegan... Oops! Anyone know?
The tofusion bowl is vegan. Veggie burger is not. Portabella sandwich is vegan if you leave off the cheese. Several salads also available. I had the tofusion bowl. It was healthy, but not great. Steamed veggies were hard. Tofu was steamed ( without any marinating or flavor). Served over brown rice and drizzled with hot chili sauce.
The restaurant tries to be healthy and organic, so I'll probably support them on my trips through Dallas, but nex time I'm having the portabella sandwich...
I was surprised but super pleased to find 6 take-out salads/bowls (three eaten cold, three hot). I had the cold chickpea bowl. It was basically a chickpea salad, but a good one! Next time I'm going to try the lentil bowl or the one with brown rice, decisions, decisions. A great vegan take-away option to have instead of just fruit or chopped veggies. In addition, the containers are paper based (and probably compostable if facilities permit).
I love all the vegan options at this little "market" in the airport. There are several varieties of apples (and not all boring old red delicious!). There are a half-dozen choices from Soul Veg. I LOVE the barbeque tofu! But there's also a jerk tofu wrap that I'm tempted by and several other great sandwiches and a bunch of salads. Lots of juices and bars and snacks. Nope, it's not cheap and nothing in the airport is, but it's wonderful to have some options and I support them on my frequent trips through.
We had a wonderful dinner here! Was small, but food was excellent and service very good. It's not upscale, but it's not overly casual either. Everyone would feel comfortable here. Wonderful variety of food. Can't wait to go back!
Crowded and busy and great! Tables are close and it's probably a better lunch spot than dinner (assuming you'd want a little more peace and privacy at dinner). But service was attentive and food delish!
We had a wonderful lunch here in this off the beaten path spot. Not entirely vegan, but certainly enough options to keep us happy! We ate outdoors in a quirky little courtyard. Only wine was "house" wine.
This is a fine-dining vegetarian restaurant. They advise vegans to mention their preference when making reservations. We had a wonderful diner here and would highly recommend it to foodies of all types.
When I travel for work, I hate to eat alone, so I often look for vegan take out. This store came up in my search and I was thrilled with the variety in the deli. They even have a nice eating area, but I didn't stay. The grocery store was big and looked to have everything!
This is the best pizza I've ever had! No kidding. The crust is perfect. Crunchy and flavorful, and the sauce is outstanding. I usually get the roasted veggie pizza but love the "chik'n" as we'll as the meatless bolognaise. I wish this was a restaurant instead of a take-away place with plenty of seats, but as it is, it's easy to pick up a piece to go or stop by when we're a little pushed for time. The owner is super nice and is always inventing new combinations. Have a pice, you'll love it. And the location can't be any more central. If you come by metro, get out at Les Halles (sortie Pierre Lescot/Pompidou).
I really liked this place. While not entirely vegan, it is certainly vegan friendly with many menu choices and some really delicious desserts. The decor is pleasant and home-decorated. It's not a preachy type of vegan place with posters about animal rights, and it's not a fancy restaurant. It's in the middle as a casual cafe with big portions of food, and friendly staff. To sum it up, I'd say it's a place that you'd love to have in your neighborhood because with modest prices and a nice atmostphere, you'll want to return regularly.
We were super happy with our meals here. The waitress really didn't know the food at all and that was a bit disappointing. But no complaints at all about the wonderful flavors. It's a cute little place. Nothing fancy, but lots of good choices.
I'm a big fan. This restaurant has lively atmosphere, great staff and great food. If I say vegan creme brulee, who among you can resist?? ;-)
But really, this is a nice cozy little place. Not fancy and the menus REALLY need to be updated, it take away a lot of charm when the lamination is peeling. But don't let that stop you from enjoying fantastice food. Go here!
Add me to the list of fans! It's comfort food vegan style and I loved it.
When you want a fine dining experience, go here. It has a wonderful varied menu and the portions are large. Long full bar and a nice wine list too.
This is a great restaurant with innovative cuisine. It's small with an open kitchen. Decor is a little stark, but the low lighing helps creative a mood. Staff is excellent. Mention your vegan preferences when reserving. The standard menu has little to offer, but the chef is very willing to accomodate.
Great mezze/tapas restauarant! It's a wonderful place that omnis will love as well. The concept is for each person on the table to order 3-4 little mezze plates (small servings) and then everyone shares. There has to be at least a dozen vegan options. All the food was wonderful, staff very nice, the ambiance was quite pleasant. I hight recommend the eggplant caviar as well as the grilled eggplant. But everything was very good!
