Delicious and amazing. I try to think of excuses to go near Farmington so I can eat here. The vegan citrus spareribs are one of the most scrumptious dishes i have ever eaten! HIGHLY recommended to the veg*n population. Worth the trip.
The staff and atmosphere are great. The decor is lovely and welcoming and all the staff are polite and treat the customers well. They have a most delicious veg pork fried rice (I order without egg) that is excellent every time. There is always complimentary tea which is a great addition to the meal.
A good compromise to go to with omnivore friends!
Good choice for vegans due to it being completely vegan. My gripe is,howeve, that the service sucks. The staff are not very friendly or even polite really. The food is edible and you know for certain it's all vegan, home made, and going to be a decent meal that one can be pleased with.
I was overjoyed after my first visit at Fresh Side. The tea was wonderful (though they don't have vegan-friendly sugar, in case you use sugar in your tea) and the tea rolls we had were simply delicious and an awesome deal. Sooo many vegan options it's exciting to any vegan. Everything on the menu sounds wonderfully tantilizing. The Coconut Curry Tofu soup was amazing. It was sooooo good I can't recommend it enough. Our server was polite and deserving of a good tip. My second time to Fresh Side, however, was not as pleasing (though with the first being such a good experience I still recommend to anyone!). My second visit, our server was clueless and really seemed to have no idea what he was doing (or perhaps even where he was). Then, we got our dinners. The Satay Rice (which I was quite looking forward to) was overburdened by cilantro. Unbearably so. Ruined the dish. Both my partner and I got it (mine with tofu, his with chicken though) and we both had the same displeasing experience. There were also surprise water chestnuts that didn't fit in the dish and were piled into it. For a satay, not enough peanut. Just lots and lots of cilantro. I'm not running to go back to Fresh Side but it's still a lovely place I'd go to again. sometime.
A nice place to go if you're walking around Noho and want a vegan treat, some coffee (where they have soy milk and vegan friendly sugar!), and tasty food. Haymarket is ALWAYS busy, quite noisy, and seems to be a place where many hang out and use their computers. Decent place to meet people either for a date or an after dinner chat.
Though the food has been decent (the tempura is quite tasty!) and the restaurant is in good location that's convenient I will not be going back to Paul & Elizabeth's. I have been consistently unhappy with the service. They also always run out of the foccacia which is the vegan option of bread. I had a helpful, good natured server once out of all the times I have been there. After bringing friends from out of the area there I was embarassed by the experience and had to apologize. Thanks anyway Paul & Elizabeth's.
quaint market that is preferable to the usually very busy whole foods! awesome selection and tons of veg*n options!
