I tried the tofu hum bao, the dumplings, the bird's nest and the kung pao "chicken". The atmosphere was plain and as it is in a house was a little too homey and a little cramped, the service was fairly quick but pretty stale as far as welcoming. The food itself was disappointing as the hum baos were strangely dry more like cake and crumbled upon eating, the dumplings were nothing like dumplings I have had and I couldn't get past one. The bird's nest was just not very flavorful and last the Kung Pao was pretty tasty and I liked the fact that they have the fake meat options. The prices were reasonable however I don't think I will be back here again.
I totally enjoyed my experience here. The service was nice and the tempeh chicken fried steak was a great dish! I heard about this place word of mouth and was pleased with it all around, great coffee, great food.
