This is a nicely decorated Indian restaurant with lovely serving bowls. The vegan items are clearly marked. It is pricey and I usually opt for other places unless I have a Groupon (they frequently offer them). Also, I eat plenty of spicy food, but multiple times we have somehow ordered something so spicy that it's almost impossible to eat and our motor functions diminished.

Some people I know love this place because of the decor and service (compared to most other Indian places), but I usually go for something simple delicious, and cheaper instead.

By far the best indian eatery in the valley.Since our arrival in the valley we have been to almost all the indian restaurants. The Dhaba is certainly an oasis in the desert.True to its name(highway stop in north india)food is truly homestyle, fresh heart healthy exotic indian vegetables cooked daily and served in copper dishes.prices are so reasonable,it does not seem you are in a casually elegant restaurant from the days of the British Raj.
a must stop for all vegans to the valley.Service is just superb.
The patio, the indian artifacts, the menu with intresting punjabi categories just completes the experience.
The india plaza department stores-the largest south Asian store gives more reasons to eat at the Dhaba.a huge selection of spices, grains all under one roof-a true vegan paradise.
