Delicious Tex-Mex food and live music

This cafe first opened in 1949 and still offers Tex-Mex food and live music every night (including funk, bluegrass, rock, blues, world beat, rockabilly and more). They have vegetarian and some vegan choices in both their lunch and dinner menus, for example vegetarian burgers, vegetarian-version fajitas, a veggie platter, and more. Drinks include wines, cocktails, liqours, and beers.

Also, according to their website, everything is made everything from scratch. And the pintos are refried in olive oil and not lard; however, their black beans are seasoned with bacon.

There aren't many quirky hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurants with a staff that knows the meaning of vegetarian. Last Concert is different....very different. It's difficult to find, has no sign, and you have to knock to get in. Once you're in, you'll be pleasantly surprised to find that the staff actually knows vegan, and they have a few great vegan options. This is a good place to bring your carnivore friends. The salsa might be the best I've found. Prepare to leave uncomfortably stuffed, though. There's often a band playing at their outdoor stage area, and the scenery is quite unique.

On second thought, don't try this place. I don't want too many people to find it.
