Was Veg, now Veg-Friendly.

A vegi-friendly version of the Lyonnais "Bouchon", Le Kid was a vegetarian restaurant for real until about a year ago, when they decided that they needed to expand the menu to allow for carnivorous dining partners, etc. The menu is still heavily vegetarian though, with vegan dishes well marked, although there is a bit of a lean toward fake-meat, especially around holidays.

Had lunch and dinner at the restaurant a few weeks ago. There is a lot of meat on the menu but about a quarter of the menu is vegetarian and there are about 4 vegan options. The waiter didn't speak much English, so I had trouble getting my questions answered. One of the dishwashers came out to my table to translate. The food was good but not great. I actually had the meatloaf both times. One of the side dishes brought to my table contained dairy (I knew from its taste) at which time I was told the kitchen made a mistake. Geneva is full of ethnic restaurants and if you're looking for the french bistro experience, I recommend Le Kid. They also have a nice street side patio.
