Lenny Kravitz's favorite falafel place. The walk-up window is much cheaper than going inside, but a falafel will run you 5 Euros (march 08). This place closes for the Sabbath, and is open on Sundays. The falafel sandwich include cabbage AND fried eggplant.

Be careful around lunch time on week days - the lines go down the block (but it moves fast).

This place claims to be the best falafel restaurant in Paris. Not true!
It's dirty, it does not smell good at all, with a blatant lack of hygiene.
They uses the same instruments to handle the meat and vegetables.
One time, I found a piece of chicken in my falafel. A real nightmare.

L'As is a relatively famous falafel joint in Paris. I know because I used to live there. It's not my favorite but definitely worth trying because you might love it. Paris has tons of different kinds of places to get falafel so it all depends on what you like. But, I know a bunch of people who go to L'As at least once a week.
