Vegetarian and Vegan Cafe in Tower Hamlets

Restaurant, Coffee/Tea/Juice

Gallery Cafe is an all vegetarian cafe in Tower Hamlets on London's east end.

Several soups, many/most vegan, for around £3, entrees for £3.90 average, add a salad for a few pence extra.

Example vegan entrees include Sausage with Mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes, and Spaghetti Bolognaise.

Several deserts are available, usually one vegan.

There are many tables in a wide seating area, and when the weather is cooperative there are several tables out front, as well.

Visa/MC and cheques accepted for orders £5 and over.

For the price, this is a good place in London, worth checking out if you're in the area.

The sausage and mash I had was decent, although they did nothing to conceal the fact that the sausage was just packaged stuff they microwaved (I know that's what's happening, but put in a modicum of effort to improve presentation).

Only one vegan desert - a chocolate ball that looked fairly basic for 90p - so I skipped.
