San Juan, Puerto Rico

Fabulous atmosphere and service we are an Indian
family and appreciated the care taken to make
Authentic Indian dishes with puerto rican flare.
We enjoyed the Thai selections as well. Very supportive of vegetarian needs. Came with children grandmother and spouse all were happy and satisfied. Just across the street from Mariott not to be missed by marriot guests.

vegie fried spring rolls, tom kha soup with vegies, and summer roll are good but the tofu pad thai and curry dish are not very good at all.

The food was pretty good and the restaurant was beautiful but the prices were way too high and the service was lacking. I was happy to find a vegetarian section of the menu but all but one of the Indian options had cheese. Of the Thai options, only the pad thai could be made vegan (get with tofu or veggies and omit the egg).

Most dishes were around $17, which is pretty normal for Condado, but is still a lot for San Juan in general. I got the tom kha soup ($7)and subbed tofu for the chicken (they assured me the broth had no meat or milk in it) and it was prettz good but I didnt like how soft the tofu was. I also had the veggie roll ($7), which had avocado and maybe 2 other veggies in it and it was also good.

As for the service. our waitress seemed miserable, very uninterested in serving us, so it was annoying to find that a 15% gratuity had been added to a bill for a party of six. Also note that this place is totally for tourists - expensive and the entire menu appearing in only English - so avoid if you are looking to mingle with locals.

The best Indian and Thai food I have tried in Puerto Rico.

We have tried several of the curry dishes and found them to be good. There are also local surprises to be found in the dishes. One time we masaman curry and found chunks of avocado in there. It made the dish unique.

The food is awesome and they have plenty of selection for vegetarians and vegans because most of the dishes can be made vegetarian even if the option isn't explicitly listed.

My favorite is the Gang Masaman curry with tofu, and the dressing on the Thai salad is great! The samosas are just average and the Dahl side dish was not good, but overall the combination of food and atmosphere makes this a place I like to visit often.
