Located at the heart of Cape Cod, this is the only fully vegetarian B&B on the Cape. Beth and Gary prepare delicious healthy gourmet breakfasts for guests.

The Inn has 4 lovely guest rooms decorated with mission furniture, pretty quilts, and original artwork. The brick patio provides opportunity for breakfast outside and bird watching. The Inn is near the Cape Cod rail trail (bike trail) and has two bikes for guest use as well as two kayaks. Since 2001, the Inn has accommodated traveling vegetarians and vegans from all over the world to rave reviews.

Relax and unwind in the comfortably elegant setting of an 1839 Sea Captain's House. Newly and completely renovated, offered is the charm of wide plank pine floors, the soft luxury of fine linens on queen-sized beds, and the ambience to make you feel as though this was your second home. You can curl up in front of the fireplace in the sitting/reading room and in the morning indulge yourself in our spacious dining room, where a delicious breakfast is served. We use only the finest of fresh and, when possible, organic ingredients.

Come enjoy the Cape's beautiful beaches and nature walks, art galleries, antique shops, and best of all, a relaxing and healthy getaway at The Shady Hollow!

Arriving by car, as you cross over the Cape Cod Canal and shed your off-cape worries, take the mid-cape highway (Route 6) to exit 9A. Go south (right) three stoplights to Upper County and turn right. Bear left at the fork and at the four-way stop signs, turn left (south) onto Main Street. Drive slowly one fifth of a mile past the cute little library and duck pond and look for our oval sign on the left. Enter the driveway to the left of the house and follow the signs to the guest entrance.

Cape Cod is not an easy place to navigate without a car - we don't recommend coming without a car but we have had guests who have travelled around only on foot and by bike. The public transportation system here is not convenient or comprehensive. That said, if need be, we can arrange to pick up guests at the local (Hyannis) bus station or airport (both about a 20 minute drive from the inn).
