A combination of Malaysian and Ethiopian cooking.

This restaurant is the project of two chefs, one Malaysian Chinese and one Ethiopian. The restaurant features dishes featuring flavors from both cuisines, though most of the dishes lean towards the Malaysian side of things.

i can't wait for this place to re-open! i thought they were gone forever and was left with nothing more than memories of the very friendly staff and awesome dishes. there were a lot of secrets around singapore ... once when i took my parents my dad got the "chef's tea." i'm not sure what it was besides tasty and not on the menu!

Singapore is a comfortable, simple looking place with a very happy and helpful staff. They are VERY, VERY slow, however. It took us (2 people) over an hour to get our entrees! I wish I could say the food was worth the wait, but, unfortunately, it wasn't. It is very mediocre in presentation and the flavors were both bland and mildly offensive. A combination that is hard to acheive!

I enjoy most exotic cuisines, so, I don't think it was a dislike for the type of food they serve. It was just not well prepared. I had one of the vegetarian entrees while my friend had a meat dish. We were both very disappointed.
