Vegetarian south Indian food

Vegetarian Indian with many vegan choices. Warm, friendly atmosphere and the tastiest samosas we've ever eaten. We loved the Spicy Eggplant along with the Tanjore Double Dinner that featured cuisine of Southern India. Northern Indian dishes have a tasty, homemade quality. The paratha, a flatbread stuffed with vegetables, was another favorite.

I had the Queen Paru here, consisting of Ghee Roast (curried vegetables in a breaded wrap), two chutneys, raitha, and a soup-like dip. Along with several lassis. The soup-like dip was great in the ilda (a potato-rice cake), the soft celery and gravy-like taste of the soup went perfect. The ghee roast was quite good too. I probably should have got a heavenly desert but everything about this place was quite heavenly. They have an entire wall of saints from all traditions - Rama devotees, Shrdi Sai Baba, Sathya Sai Baba, Yogananda, Babaji, and more.

Very knowledgeable staff. Delicious water. And the building ambiance was unmatched. They had trees in actual dirt inside with lights in the trees!

I will be back to explore more of their menu no question.
