I don't often give a 5 star review to a non-vegan restaurant, but I think Roy's deserved it. The food here is excellent, and so are the staff. They were busy the evening we were there, which meant a couple of our courses took a while to arrive, but they were very apologetic (the manager also came round an apologised) and gave us our drinks for free.
We both had the vegan tasting menu, which is well worth trying. The night we were there it was: battered fried zucchini on a Chinese bun with radish jelly; roasted apple, hearts of palm, spinach, apple granola, with a soy sauce reduction; roasted portabella mushrooms with quinoa and salsa; and a carrot cake (more like a carrot sponge) with glazed carrots, and apple ice cream.
