This is an awful place to go if you are craving masala dosa and sambar. We were very disappointed with the service for a couple of reasons; first, we were served cold food, upon receiving the food the second time, mine was still not close to being hot. To top this the sambar was plain daal, it tasted more like moongi masar then sambar. Just plain disappointing place. I will never try it again nor will I recommend this place to anybody.

If there was a choice I would probably give 0. Unfortunately 1 is the lowest number. I would like to let you know that we are terribly disappointed with the service we received at your restaurant on 30th June 2007. We stay in Michigan and during our last visit there in Sept 06 we were so impressed by service that we decided to go just for their breakfast buffet. Since we were coming from Michigan, we were stuck at border (unfriendly border staff) for a long time and reached your restaurant at 12:05 for breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, there was also an accident on 401 due to which were late. We still made it barring all this difficulties only to realize that their staff was not willing enough to compromise on allowing us to eat breakfast buffet ( reached at 12:05). they were not willing enough to compromise their time rule by 5 minutes.
I agree that they are required to abide by the rules, however there can always be some consideration for exceptional situation such as ours. The person at the border was ridiculing us when we raved about the food at the restaurant and did not believe that we were making a trip just to go to the restaurant. We were a team of 8 people. Now you have 8 unsatisfied out station customers. Too bad. Sounds silly to travel 200 miles for good food but looking at enthusiasm you can understand how much we were longing for good breakfast buffet.

Sararvan Bhavan has taught us a lesson through their bad customer service.I am really disappointed by the kind of customer service we received and going forward we would probably think twice before coming to your restaurant or even recommending to your restaurant to others.
