The restaurant was empty when my friend and I arrived but quickly filled up. The sapce inside is pretty small, but the staff was friendly and our waitress (also a chef, I think) was constantly on her feet to ensure everyone was being served.
I had the falafel and hummus-both were really good and homemade. The house salad that comes with the entrees is large and fresh and their dressings are also homemade. The waitress will explain the types of ingredients used in any dish and will make suggestions based on your dietary needs. I was very impressed by her knowledge and happy that she knew my diet was important to me.
While I was there a few patrons requested some strawberry iced tea--not on the menu--but the waitress told them she'd be happy to try to make some for them. Additionally, they will customize your dish to suit your needs, and they aren't at all annoyed to have to do so. Note that vegan and vegetarian items are not marked on the lunch menu but the servers know their stuff, and their web site does mark all items.
The servings sizes are appropriate for the price you pay, although I would pay more since the food is so good and fresh.
