My family and I went here for brunch recently because we heard that they have good vegan brunch options. While I feel the food was very fresh and well-prepared, I found it all to be very bland and boring. I will say, however, I was pleased that they're making an effort to serve vegetable-based entrees instead of just throwing a soy burger into the mix.
I ordered the Vegan Benedict, which I expected to have some sort of tofu concoction in place of the usual eggs. Nope. The Vegan Benedict just omits the eggs and serves vegetables over bread with Hollandaise sauce. The sauce is vegan and is good, but it's basically veggies on bread, which isn't particularly exciting.
My sister got the a roasted veggie sandwich, which she also said was well-prepared but bland. I didn't try it so I'm guessing that's because it came with cheese, but I don't recall. We also ordered the inappropriately named tofu scramble, which was really 1/4 chunks of tofu and 3/4 potatoes. Again, the flavor was fine, but it was somewhat bland and it was NOT a scramble, it was more of a skillet. We took the leftovers home, threw some Veganaise and Siracha on it and it was much better. :)
I will say, that the service was very friendly and our server was really good with kids, which we appreciated. I like the ambiance but I was very unimpressed with the food so I don't think I'd go back.
