Coffee Shop

Restaurant, Coffee/Tea/Juice

Their motto is "Killer Coffee, Lousy Service" and even has an electric sign in the window to that effect.

Fuel definitely serves more meat than necessary but has a good amount of vegetarian and vegan food, including a "VLT" (vegan bacon, lettuce and tomato), the "fat vegan" sandwich, stacked with veggie deli "meat", mustard, soy mayo, lettuce, artichoke, cucumber, and tomato, and a number of other veg sandwiches, wraps, and vegan chili. Bakery and all the usual espresso drinks.

Fuel used to be known for being extremely smoky but they went smoke-free in 2007 so leave your cigarettes at home.

For the amount of food you get, over priced. The food is not very good and I did not find the atmosphere to be that welcoming. My 9 year old brother could make better food blindfolded.

I just went here for the first time in about 5 years, as I was put off with how smoky it was. I'm really glad that's is smoke-free and the service was actually friendly (unlike their "lousy service" motto, but the food is still nothing to brag about.

I had the fat vegan sandwich (deli meat, artichokes, cucumbers, lettuce, vegan mayo and mustard), and it was good enough, but the stale white bread and extremely measly amount of vegan mayo left me less than satisfied. I also tried the chili, after the cashier assured me that it's good, and it was awful. It tasted like a can of Hormel chili w/ no flavor, and the 50 cent dollop of Tofutti sour cream didn't help much.
