The vegetarian combo is slightly cheaper than nearby Med Fresh Grill. I like the pita and baba ganoush better too.

I disagree with the other review, being part middle eastern myself I love the food, think its well priced and very authentic.
For vegans I just order a few appetizers, its more than enough for a meal and if you are with someone else you can get the falafel sandwich and share a couple appetizers like the hummus, tabouli, fool modemas or grape leaves.

We tried the Phoenicia Cafe for lunch and were quite disappointed. The prices were high, and the quality was below to average. The hummus was made from a mix, which was average, but when you have had better you know the difference. To get what is usually part of an entree such as salad or soup you needed to pay $1.50 in addition to the entree cost. Also you got the choice of hummus or rice, but for and extra $1.50 you could have both. For a college restaurant, this was pricey especially when you can go a short distance to Haji Babba's and get better food for less money. If you want a real treat try Doobies Cafe S. of Guadalupe on Dobson in Mesa. Everything is freshly made and for less then what you paid at the Phoenicia Cafe, you get your choice of a fresh salad or fresh lentil soup.
