Great Middle Eastern Food in Deli-style setting
It's a bakery, and a deli, and a sit-down restaurant (very similar to Haji Baba in Tempe)! And this just might be one of the most vegetarian-friendly Middle Eastern establishments in town. Oh, and the food is good too!
Appetizers include Hummus, Baba, Falafel, Dolmades, and Spinach Pie. Each available in small or large portions.
For salad lovers, you can get a Greek salad, Fattoush salad, Tabouli salad, a Tahini vegetable salad, a Ful Mudammas (fava beans with parsley, onions, tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, and lemon juice), or (get this) a Combo salad of Tabouli salad, Tahini Salad, and the Ful Mudammas salad. Now that's a salad!
For lunch, there's plenty of veg sandwiches, in a white or wheat pita: Falafel, Hummus, Baba, Tabouli, and a delectable Eggplant (with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, red bell pepper, and pine nuts). Each sandwich is served with lettuce, tomato, and red onion.
For entrees (each served with salad), you can choose betwee the Imjadara (lentil and rice pilaf), the Falafel plate (10 falafels), a Veg appetizer and salad combo plate, and Spanakopita (spinach and cheese in filo).
Note: there is extremely limited parking on site, but there's ample parking on nearby streets.
