Authentic Indian Vegetarian Food

An Indian exclusively vegetarian fast-food chain. Treat it like a fast food restaurant with lots of available seating. They specialize in delicious first-rate medium-spiced veggie curries, Indian thalis (buffet plate), and multi-sized takeout containers.

Some of the dishes they offer include Saag Paneer (cheese), dry curry with cheese and red/green peppers, black lentils, cauliflower, potato and onions; chickpea malai (cream), kofta balls, mild shahi or mattar (peas) paneer in a sweet tomato or mild gravy, layered with silver leaf.

Complete dinners are about $8 per person, including all taxes and tip.

Very tasty Indian cuisine, the best actually for the longest time. We find the cooking to be comparable from visit to visit, though, being Indian cuisine, it is a bit heavy due to the clarified butter used. I found out that you are not supposed to eat rice as well as naan or chiapati.... either rice, or naan / chiapati.

The food quality was bad and don't even go near the sweets. The sweets look appealing, but it doesn't taste good. My guess is that they use a substitute a flour for dairy in the sweets.

The store is totally cramped, and the service is horrible. There were about 6-10 people working there and I didn't see any of them smile or help with food choices voluntarily.
