This space is really cute and I always love the combination of bookstores and cafes, especially those that feature vegan and fair-trade food. I've tried the lentil chili (which is apparently purchased from a local soup restaurant and not made in-house) and it's good, but I prefer mine to be chunkier and come with more beans. It comes with bread and a salad for about $6, which isn't a bad deal.

I also had the hummus platter but was a little disappointed. It cost $7.50 so I expected it to come with a decent amount of food but instead, I got a huge plate of lettuce, with a small mound of hummus and some carrot sticks and bread. There was way more lettuce than anything else and there weren't enough carrots or pieces of bread (I think I got 4 small bread wedges) for the hummus so I ended up eating it with the lettuce and a fork. Not so great. I'll stick to chili next time.
