Organic Vegetarian Restaurant

The menu is reminiscent of a traditional Middle Eastern style restaurant and offers a rich selection of organic and vegetarian dishes. The dishes include organic hummus and tehina for dipping, tofu and eggplant lasagna, fried kube filled with soybeans, stuffed vegetables, refreshing salads from organic vegetables with Middle Eastern dressings, quinoa and even an organic veggie burger chock full of nuts as well as whole wheat pitas. Like the food, the drinks are also special and made of all natural ingredients. You can choose from orange juice, fresh beer, or goat's yoghurt with mint.

Definitely worth a visit during your trip to Jerusalem! Situated right in the bustling Mahane Yehuda Market ("The Shuk"). The green tehina is AMAZING! They also have vegetarian kube which is hard to come about! A tad pricy, but eating out in Israel is always more expensive.

Machane Yehuda Open Market

Take any bus from the central bus station in the direction of the center of town and get off at the Machane Yehuda Open Market on Jaffa Street or Agrippas Street depending on the bus. Once inside it's a bit hard to find-ask around about the restaurant, and if that doesn't bring results, ask for the Etheopian store, which it is across from.
