Indian food in a quaint setting

Indian cuisine in north-central Phoenix has never been better! This fabulous Indian restaurant is particularly well known for its terrific puffy breads, especially the bhatura; and for its spicy-tasteful (not spicy-hot) dishes.

Veg-lovers will find plenty of bread and rice to go with Indian stews (such as the okra-filled Bhinidi); eggplant delights (such as the magnificent Bengan Bhartha); Mushroom-based dinners (such as the Bhaji, with onions and tomatoes), or the Masala; and, of course, Taste of India's amazing and delectable treatment of potatoes, chickpeas, and lentils.

Inexpensive, yet extensive, daily lunch buffet.

This is my favorite Indian food restaraunt. It offers lots of vegan options (and enough non-veggie options to keep my boyfriend happy). It has wonderful naan breads, the garlic and the kabli (nuts and raisins) are our favorite.
