Delicious India food on the east side
Named "Best Indian Restaurant" in Phoenix in 2005, by The New Times weekly, Indian Delhi Palace features a fancy exterior (see pics) and delectable Indian cuisine on the inside. No doubt, this place has a lot to offer both veg-lovers and non-veggies.
From hearty stews, vegetable soups, delicious sauces over rice, terrific breads, and decent-sized portions to enjoy, this is a place you can bring the whole family that everyone will adore.
Appetizers include Samosa (with mixed vegetables), Pakoras, and the delightful Onion Bhaji (sliced onion deep-fried).
For Entrees, dishes featuring potatoes, peas, onions, eggplant, and tomatoes reign supreme. (Most vegetarian items are mildly spiced.) The Daal Maharani (with split lentils cooked to a thick soup) is highly recommended.
Large, inexpensive lunch buffet.
Their large banquet hall seats up to 250 people. So bring a big group, there's plenty of good food and seats to be had by all.
