Wow! We really liked their food. My family and relatives of seven visited for the first time in May 2011. We were highly pleased and absolutely will make that a spot to return to on our future visits.
Suggestion: Order as many dishes as you can and have everyone try them so you will know which ones will be your favorite.
We chosed: Kush BBQ Spare Tips, Curry Chick-un, Sweet & Sour Seitan (meatless chicken), Sesame Spinach, Collard Greens, Cabbage, and Baked Macaroni & Cheese. For Dessert: Carrot Cake & Red Velvet Cake. No complaints!
They serve their foods in take out container so ask for a plates if you're dining in. Restaurant is very small, not good for large groups and can be a little crampy holding perhaps 16-20 persons max. But don't let that stop you from trying some of the best food in Maryland. If I was you I would avoid the lunch crowd.
Pricing was very reasonable.
Do remember them for your catering engagments.
We were in Bordentown, NJ. We drove about 40 mins to philly just to try out this restaurant. We were very pleased and satisfied.
We purchased: a specialty pizza for our non-vegan friends, seitan cheesesteak, hand-cut fries on serving large enough for two people, chocolate cake, & brownie.
The prices were very reasonable.
The restaurant is small and from the outside it doesn't look like much, and at first, second & third glance may make you want to reconsider about entering at all; but it was very much worth the trip and the experience was quite nice. We will look forward to revisiting.
My family took me out to eat for Mother's Day. So I chose here. The food was very good. We had the gardein sandwich with fries, and the vegan pizza (was expecting it to be on a crust, but it wasn't), and a garden salad. The food was excellent. The pricing is above average.
The atmosphere was too dark though, we asked to be moved to a location that was brighter for we couldn't read the menu because it was so dark and this was about 12:30 PM. They did relocate us to a table that was a little better, however the restaurant is very dark itself.
Our food took over an hour to come out so the waitress gave us salsa & chips on the house while we waited.
They offer a vegan dessert but it was out of stock so we when to another restaurant for dessert.
We perhaps would visit and try again, but certainly, not on a holiday.
