This is the first Indian restaurant I ever ate at and it remains in my top two (the other was in Nyack, NY and closed). The Navrattan Korma is so creamy, yummy, and perfectly sweetened. The spinach in the Sag Paneer looks and tastes delicious. I used to take orders back to college and stick them in the freezer to enjoy later when I wanted a taste of home.
I've been several times and always been very pleased with the food. The creamy mushroom soup is ridiculously good. If you love desserts like I do, be sure to save room for the homemade pies or brownie with raspberry.
My eggplant parm was very tasty - not fried and heavy like other places. It came with two sides, salad, and cornbread...quite the meal! I will have to say that the type of cuisine listed on this website (soul) had my mouth watering for my collards and okra but its not that kind of soul food. I was slightly disappointed since I was a bit homesick. Overall good experience and I plan to return to explore more of the menu.
I was super psyched to visit after reading the other reviews but I can't say my experience was quite as nice. My tofu scramble was barely warm and the flavor reminded me of the spice packs sold by Fantastic brand - so nothing spectacular. At least it had flavor unlike the pumpkin spice latte which tasted like absolutely nothing. I'm sure I could have asked them to remake it as they did seem to be a friendly bunch but I didn't. With that said, I would go back and try something different.
