I was super excited to find that there was a Jamba Juice right off of 17 on my way out of Phoenix up to Sedona. I stopped for a fresh shot of wheatgrass and a smoothie. The service was extra friendly and the juice was delish!
I stopped here on my way out of Phoenix to Sedona. I was just before the dinner rush and the place was really nice and quiet (I was the only customer in there for a little while).
I had a wonderful salad with grilled asparagus. The bread they served with balsamic vinegar and olive oil was excellent, and my vegan pizza was good. There were quite a number of other items on the menu that could be made vegan. Overall, I was quite impressed with how vegan-friendly their menu was.
Fantastic vegan deli items and vegan baked goods. Excellent fresh squezed juices.
Amazing and unique foods! Quite a few vegan selections. I tried the walnut pomegranate dish - super delicious! It was also very rich, so I could only finish about half of it. The portions were very large, so consider sharing if you're not super hungry. The Persian salad was phenomenal and the hummus was fresh and really great. The only negative was a very loud and disrepectful fight between two of the employees right before we left - it was quite startling and unprofessional, especially because I think the one doing most of the yelling was the manager. Nonetheless, we would definitely go here again because the food was great and the service was great (except for the yelling manager).
I love this place! I hadn't been in a couple years and the food was just as good as I remembered. I wasn't a huge fan of the new location, but that could just be because parking was more difficult.
I took 3 carnivores with me for their first all vegan gourmet meals and they all had a good experience.
The food here was excellent with amazing flavor! We tried the mixed vegetable curry, the daal soup, and the vegetable samosas. I would definitely seek this place out next time I am in Tampa and I highly recommend the food.
Fabulous juice bar and smoothie options. Voted best patio atmosphere in Atlanta several years running. Unbelievably great vegan food.
Excellent vegan food. The "chicken" fried steak and "kalbone" meat substitute are delightful. The soy ice cream shakes are also a treat. Brunch is served Sunday mornings. The ice cream / juice bar is closed at that time.
The best place to eat for vegans that we found anywhere in Greece. We discovered this place at the end of our visit to Santorini, sadly. We would have eaten there every day if we had found it earlier. Awesome vegan selections with delicious flavors and great service.
Willing to make a vegan meal, but it was pretty plain. They gave me grilled veggies (asparagus, zucchini, mushrooms) with pasta and olive oil. No real seasoning, so was nothing special.
The fried eggplant appetizer was nice and they always offer a vegan sorbet.
I was bummed that they didn't offer any herbal teas.
This place was superb! There wasn't anything on the menu that could obviously be adapted to be vegan, so I asked the waiter what he recommended. The chef made me a special plate that the carnivores at the table were jealous of! He made a couscous stuffed red pepper with red pepper sauce, heri covert green beans with a shallot coulis, caramelized onions and olives. It was truly a gourmet meal!
The service was friendly and fun. This was definitely the best dining experience I had in New Orleans.
Very willing to make special meals for vegans. Unfortunately, the quality of the meal was just average. They made me a veggie stirfry with garlic sauce on my first visit and grilled veggie plate the second visit. The house salad and candied yams were both vegan and very tasty. Really friendly service from waiter Greg.
Tons of great vegan options just a short walk from Kenmore Square.
July 2008 - Vegan selection was awesome! The food was good, but not the greatest. I was really excited about the vegan cheesecake, but it was a bit of a let down compared to others I've had.
The service wasn't very good.
May 2009 - Changing my rating from four to two stars. Service is horrendous and the waitress was super rude. Their food is totally not worth the bad service.
Totally amazing dishes here and wonderful atmosphere! Our favorites were the lobster thermidor, the calamari appetizer special and the brownie sundae for dessert. The waitstaff was super friendly and helpful.
My husband and I took our carnivore friend and we were nervous if raw vegan food was too out there for him. He ended up loving it!
Great No-Moo vegan ice cream and they also had a vegan waffle cone when we were there (they let us read the waffle cone box).
It was awesome because they had multiple No-Moo flavors both times we were there and the service was amazingly friendly. Highly recommend this place!
Awesome No-Moo ice cream!
The only bummer was that they had only one No-Moo flavor and it contained chocolate which my husband doesn't eat. But I loved it...
Wow! The vegan chicken parm sub is WOW! They also had a great chocolate milkshake and yummy sweet potato fries. A must visit for vegan foodies.
Awesome vegan choices. The waiter was very helpful in selecting vegan choices from the menu. Everything had great flavor and was super fresh. We had the bruschetta, a soup, a pizza and a pasta.
Outstanding vegan tasting menu! We loved the fun, crazy pink decor in the Soiree Room. Funky!
We got 8 courses instead of the 7 that were supposed to be in the vegan tasting menu. We loved all the courses, but basically had to roll ourselves out of there because we were so full. Our favorites were the fried artichoke / veggie course and the tempura peapods with avocado and soy ginger sauce.
This place is great for a romantic splurge dinner.
The ice cream was fantastic here, but I'm not sure I'd go back.
The hours on the Wheeler website were quite wrong which annoyed us because we ended up waiting outside for the place to open, plus they opened 10 minutes later than they said on their door. They also closed earlier than advertised on their web page. Service was not great.
They are very vegan-friendly here. In addition to appetizers and entrees, they usually have a vegan pie. They change their menu several times per year. We've tried their tempeh reuben (delicious), as well as their mushroom risotto and pasta purses. All the dishes we've had there have been great!
This is a great co-op. I found large soy protein chunks here, which I have had trouble finding in the Twin Cities recently.
Their fresh vegan smoothies at the juice bar were quite delicious, too.
We were amazed to find a retaurant with so many vegetarian options in this rural MN region. They had several vegan options as well - we especially liked the curry mock duck.
Only rated as a 4 because doesn't come close to some of the great veg-friendly places in larger cities.
I am sorry to say that the only good veggie food here are the spring rolls. The rest of the dishes are bland Americanized versions of Asian food. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they just wanted spring rolls.
You MUST order the Niskena. It may not sound good to you, but it's the best thing on the menu for vegans. You also need Kurdish bread to dip in the Niskena. The Kurdish lemonade is also yummy. The rest of the vegan options are good, but not as great as the Niskena.
The dish that has yam chunks in sesame sauce is out of this world!!! It sounded like such a weird dish that I had to order it and now I crave it all the time. My husband loved the cream cheese wontons and the other stuff he ordered. My non-veggie brother-in-law also likes the food at this restaurant and he's usually a very good judge of Asian restaurants.
I totally love this place and will definitely go back. The owner was quite knowledgeable about both vegan and gluten-free and was happy to adapt dishes as appropriate.
Awesome complex flavors and nice vegan food! They don't have the avocado and mushroom carpaccio that was mentioned in the previous review on the menu anymore.
We had a delicious arugula sesame salad and watermelon gazpacho for starters. We both had the crispy tofu entree, which was fantastic, and we had the baby corn and broccoli prepared vegan. They also have freshly made vegan sorbets.
Great place for a gourmet vegan meal.
This place is AWESOME!
The vegan food is spectacular and unique. The owners are super friendly and are willing to make special dishes on request.
Our favorite items are the vegetarian fish, happy four bean goods and the gluten roll. The salt and pepper bean curd roll appetizer is amazing.
Check it out!
I've been here numerous times over the last 5 years. They always make an amazing vegan tasting menu as long as I call and let them know I'm coming and need vegan options.
A cute little Japanese restaurant with pleasant waitstaff. In my opinion, this place is overrated. The unique vegan items were good, such as the special veggie sushis. However, the usual Japanese dishes that can be found at most other restaurants were good but not outstanding and were much more expensive than at other places. Overall, a fun place to try but not really worth the wait to be seated and the extra cost for standard items.
Good, standard, Japanese fare with reasonable prices. Their miso soup is vegan, they have several types of veggie maki rolls, and they will make inari even though it's not on the menu. Veg tempura is vegan as well. Yum!
Very flavorful veg combo platter. The enjeera is gluten free and delicious (many other restaurants mix wheat with the teff in their enjeera). The only downside is that the music was extremely loud - we had to shout to hear each other across the table.
This place is yummy! The peanut butter momos were my favorite. Another reviewer mentioned that the peanut butter momos were gone, but they're back now, baby! They have tons of vegan options and the service is awesome.
We love the mock duck and potatoes and the spring rolls. The veggies are fresh, which can't be said of all Asian places.
Decent vegan and raw options. Everything we ordered was good, but most of it did not make it to the awesome level. They were out of several things that we really wanted to order. The juices were amazing and the desserts were good. The rest was just okay.
Dude! The Jumbo Soy Dog NY Style is THE BEST!!!! I seriously wanted to eat one every day while I was in NY. The smoothies were totally yummy too!
Not too impressive. After reading all the great reviews on Blossom, we decided to try the cafe on our last day in Manhattan. We did not like any of our appetizers or entrees - very bland. We did really like our drinks and desserts, so that's why the rating gets a three instead of a two, but this place doesn't hold a candle to any of the numerous other vegan places we went to on our trip. We likely won't be going back here on our next trip.
I'd been hearing about the Seitan Piccata for years and it was so totally awesome! I wanted to eat it every day of our trip, but I restrained myself. Everything we ordered here was fantastic. They have great gluten-free options, too. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Great gluten-free vegan options. I loved the Paradise Casserole and the Sesame Crusted Tofu. The special soup and desserts were great as well. It was super busy during a weekday lunch rush.
The highlight of our meal was the lemon sorbet with rice noodles and sour cherry syrup. It sounds weird, but it was ridiculously yummy. The hummus was great - very uniquely heavy on the tahini and deicious. The entrees were good, but not over the top great. Definitely the best Persian food I've eaten anywhere in the country.
Great ambience and gluten-free options. The stuffed squash blossoms and mushroom ravioli were great. The assorted nut cheeses was our favorite appetizer, and the blueberry peach cannoli was amazing. Service was great. The only reason we didn't rate at the top of the scale was that the food was a little more pricey than comparable food at other restaurants.
Super yummy! The turnip cakes kick butt and the mock pork buns are unbelievable.
The food is awesome and they have plenty of selection for vegetarians and vegans because most of the dishes can be made vegetarian even if the option isn't explicitly listed.
My favorite is the Gang Masaman curry with tofu, and the dressing on the Thai salad is great! The samosas are just average and the Dahl side dish was not good, but overall the combination of food and atmosphere makes this a place I like to visit often.
AWESOME! I can't believe we didn't find this place until our last day in PR after two bloody years. Argh! Anyway, the sandwiches are awesome on fresh bread. The falafel was best. The banana peanut butter smoothie was rockin'.
The atmosphere at this place is super chic and hip. Very fun for a group or romantic for a couple. You can sit on a large lounge bed and have drinks and sushi brought right to your lounge bed. The lounge beds can be wet sometimes, so feel free to ask for a beach towel to sit on.
The sushi is average, but the atmosphere makes the place definitely worth visiting.
If you like to drink, the martinis are great. The nonalcoholic mango daiquiri is also great.
My husband and I recently spent the weekend at Maravilla. It was like a little slice of heaven! The setting is amazing - very peaceful, romantic and private. The vegan meals were unbelievably great! Mark and Margo, the owners, are wonderful hosts and super nice people. The prices for both meals and lodging are very good.
Decent vegan fare in the boonies. I'm giving an average rating considering location. If the restaurant were in a major city, my rating would be lower. We were happy to find this place and eat a solid meal before heading into the Black Hills to camp.
This place has a huge veggie selection, many of the items vegan. The owner was very friendly and let me buy a big pack of frozen veggie fish to take home with me.
