The falafel sandwiches are the best I have had in Milwaukee! Casablanca has a great atmosphere and wonderful service.
Chopstix is my late night go to Chinese. I love their General Tso's tofu. I usually get the food to go or have it delivered as the eating area is quite small and uncomfortable.
I absolutely love their bread sticks! They are phenomenal and a great deal. I also enjoy their vegan pizzas (though they aren't the best I have had). It is a shame that they don't sell vegan slices though.
Their baked goods are AMAZING!! I especially love their pecan fingers. I usually buy their products at Whole Foods or Sentry, but would love to actually be able to go to their store. One Saturday morning I tried to go really early to East Side Ovens, but the building looked very abandoned and was completely locked and dark.
This place is amazing. Fantastic food, great service, and wonderful atmosphere. I brought some non-veg friends here and they loved the vegan pizzas we had. Their bread and dipping sauces are also delicious.
My girlfriend and I used to love this place (the food is pretty awesome), but we recently stopped going after finding hair in our food three times (yuck!!). We should have stopped after the first time we found hair in my BBQ tofu sandwich, but thought it was just a fluke. After the second time of finding it in the same sandwich I no longer ordered the BBQ tofu. The third time was the last time I will EVER go to the Coop. We found hair in our mac and trees (used to be my favorite dish there). I am absolutely disgusted by the cleanliness of the cafe!
The service really depends on who is working, but it can be slow and unfriendly if you don't "fit" in.
