The staff at this clean, bright restaurant was very helpful in identifying vegetarian and vegan foods on the menu. Their large menu includes soups, starters, breads, meals, desserts, and non-alcoholic beverages. There were a number of tempting options. My meal was a fabulous adventure of new Indian spices and flavors. I will go back!

A beautiful presentation of excellent food. Home cooked comfort foods like bubbling crocks of vegan stew that really satisfy! This tiny restaurant is family run, not for those in a hurry as dishes appear to be made to order. Great place to spend a couple of hours savoring the meal!

Poeles de Carottes offers a huge variety of fantastic vegan and vegetarian fare! We could have eaten her every day and never had the same thing twice. The service, daily specials, and atmosphere were also great. Loved it so much, I bought the t-shirt!

This lovely Indian restaurant was a welcome retreat: I was dining alone and staff were very kind and helpful, artwork was interesting, atmosphere was cosmopolitan but quiet and calm. The food was one exotic, tantalizing option after another! Nearly one-third of their large menu was vegetarian/vegan. I couldn't decide, so I went with the thali to get a sample of as much as possible. Everything on the tray was unique and highly flavored, I liked it all! They were able to assure a vegan variety including legume dishes, fruit, vegetables, rice and crisp bread. While the meal was large, I did not receive the salad and dessert that was included on the menu. While most of the veg entrees were in the $10-13 range, the thali was more, so I was a bit disappointed when I realized I hadn't receive the full meal. Unfortunately, it didn't even occur to me until after I left and, frankly, I was too full to have eaten more!
It was a positive experience with fantastic food and I highly recommend it!

Taco Mac in Atlanta, Georgia

I reluctantly tried Taco Mac seeking outdoor seating after being inside the conference center for 10 hours! I was pleasantly surprised that they had a handful of good-looking vegetarian (able to be veganized) items to accompany their awesome beer selection from all over the world.
I had the portobello wrap (grilled portobello mushrooms with guacamole, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, cucumber, and olive oil vinaigrette) which was simple, but good. Other choices include a vegetarian burrito, bean tacos, & veg quesadilla). Chips and salsa are not complimentary, but the portion is generous if you order them. It's convenient, food is good, and staff are exceptionally friendly!

This Kurdish restaurant has great atmosphere and offers a large variety of vegetarian & vegan options!
The interior is striking with bright colors, rich tapestries, regional photographs, and sun shining in during the noon hour. It is casual, comfortable dining at small tables or cozy booths.
I had the Biryani, a flavorful dish of rice, noodles, potatoes, vegetables, and raisins in a delicious lemony oil. It was served with a Silopi (fresh cucumber and tomato) salad. I also tasted the Garbanzo Bean Shilla which was rich and filling. Both entrees were wonderful! The bread is thick and fluffy and comes with the meal.
Portions are generous and prices are very reasonable ($7-8).
I'll go back!

Consistently, the food and drinks here exceed expectation! It's tough not to order the one-of-a-kind, melt-in-your-mouth salt and pepper tofu every time I go, but there are so many vegan and vegetarian items on the menu that eventually, I can't resist trying the next outstanding dish. The service staff is always attentive, friendly, & helpful. The food is great, flavorful, and served in generous portions. Their bar menu demands frequent returns in an effort to sample all the creative options. Pricing is good for the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere. HIghly recommended!

Glen Mountain Market offers a great selection of vegan sandwiches and subs! They have a menu of these sandwiches, but all are made to order so you can choose the bread or add/delete an ingredient. The food is fresh, tasty, and served in a basket with chips and a pickle. There is seating inside and outside. They also offer at least 1 vegan dessert and 2 breakfast pastries each day and can make up a soy latte or mocha to go with your sweet. The variety of the baked items was somewhat limited, raisin-nut bars were featured all week. They were good, but another choice would have been welcome.

The awesome home made food here is served with a smile! The food is fresh and made to order. Vegan options range from a tempeh reuben with home made dressing (had to have it twice!) to a tangy hummus wrap to a vegan chef salad. Main dishes are served with a creative side of salad like bulgar lentil or brown rice berry. Baked goods are available from cookies to fresh fruit tarts. The food was fantastic, this is casual vegan dining at its best!

We drove around town looking for anything other than a coffee shop and happened upon this comfortable, quiet restaurant. It's fair to call it "upscale", but we were there in shorts for lunch and weren't uncomfortable. It's nicely decorated and has friendly staff. They offer appetizers and salads with separate lunch and dinner menus. We had a wonderful tomato-basil soup and shared a bruschetta without cheese. Menu includes lots of meat, but does offer vegetarian and vegan options. They knew what it meant when asked if they could accommodate vegan requests and report that they are happy to do so.

I had a good lunch here, was pleasantly surprised to find vegan & raw food in Bismarck! The entree menu is fairly small. The vegan offerings when I stopped in included a couple each of soups, sandwiches, & wraps, lots of smoothies, as well as fruit, and cookies. I had an almond veggie pate sandwich which was very good- I expected sweet, like peanut butter, but it was more savory and I enjoyed it. A vegan pesto pita was also tempting. There are more options for vegetarians (ex. with cream cheese). The food is made fresh to order, I got to watch my apple be converted into juice! The omnivore friends I was with enjoyed their vegetarian options. Very small, only 3-4 tables. I would go back again!
