Neomonde is great. Definitely vegan-friendly (they do serve meat); extremely cheap (I pay around 6$ and they also have free pita bread!). And did I mention the food is awesome? Their baba ghanouj is out of this world!

Great vegan place. The rice and beans is huge, and tasty (esp. with the hot sauce). The hummus is dee-vine, served with pita wedges. Their salads are also generous. The menu clearly labels vegan and vegetarian item, and the staff is always friendly.

I love Weaver Street! Carrborro is probably the #1 liberal place in the US, and as such they have lots of vegans and vegetarians. Vegan cakes, vegan ice cream- it's so easy to be a vegan with Weaver Street! And I love the availability of their alternative products and organic produce. And if I want lunch or dinner or breakfast, I can pop into the cafe section and get some vegan food!
