One of the first and still the best Indian food in salt lake. We love the Bengan Bartha (get it without the cream -- it's better that way). Also like the Malai Kofta -- although it is not vegan (has cream). The appetizers (Samosa, vegetable pakora, etc.) are also great. You can get the appetizer combo vegetarian if you're with a group. Ask for the special hot sauce if you want a spicier dip.
In my opinion this place has the best tasting vegan sandwiches in the valley. Great spicy meatball sandwich. Taco salad is also awesome.
Had the Wabi Sabi and the Machu Picchu. Both were basically sauces and vegies over grains (rice and quinoa), and the sauces were superb in both dishes. Need to get back to try some of the raw options. The chocolate shake was great too -- with agave nectar.
The place is quite small but has a few items that I have to go back for. The vegan parmesan cheese is the best I have found. The produce that they have is fresher than any I've seen, and I like the selection of bulk grains, seeds and beans.
Very good Thai food. Also the place to go if you like hot food. The menu advertises mild, medium and hot -- but if you explore a bit with your waiter you'll discover that "hot" has 5 levels of hot. A 3 is as hot as any food I've gotten in Salt Lake. Not much atmosphere but great food -- even if you eat it mild.
The buffet is enormous. Lots of vegan and vegetarian choices.
Quite a funky little eatery. The menu is quite large and there seems to be almost as many extra dishes posted on pieces of paper taped to the counter and board. Always like what we get there.
Very good chinese food. Haven't branched out too much because the eggplant dish is so good.
This is the best middle eastern food in the valley. Also their french fries are great!
Very good food for a very fair price. Love the falafel sandwich -- and the host sauce that goes with it! Baba ganoush is also a favorite.
A great little sandwich shop. Cindy loves the vegan sandwich while I opt for the vegetarian curry (also vegan). These sandwiches hold up great for a picnic or hike.
The food is always flavorful and surprising. Wonderful atmosphere and friendly service. You do have to count on spending some time here as the food is prepared fresh, but it is worth the wait.
THE place for gourmet vegan food in Salt Lake -- but I have found the food to be uneven. One time I will be totally blown away and the next time it will be so-so. The food is all organic so the prices can be higher than other places.
The food is good chinese food. Service is brusk but very efficient.
We go here a good bit for lunch. We love the Masala Dosa. The lentil soup that comes with it is wonderful.
This place has some good stuff but it seems we're always a little disappointed. I do really like the vegan milk shake. The sandwiches are good but it just doesn't seem to ever be great. Nice that they now have the local wine (Kiler Grove).
