Vegetarian and vegan friendly options. I have only been here once but it was a good experience. I had the portabello-pesto panino, which is vegan and delish. Other options looked good as well.
Great atmosphere and staff. The outdoor garden is especially nice, a great place to take your meal.
A few things:
if you are not vegan and are going for the pizza, don't, they have temporarily stopped serving it- but the menu said they were trying to get it back on.
if you are vegan and get a side salad, cheese comes on it if you don't ask for it to be omitted.
Tasty food and good practices, as other reviewers have said.
Very tasty and veg/vegan-friendly as others have stated.
Have been for dinner and it was delish. If you have an eating partner, the COMBO MEAL is a good deal--like 17.80 (or something close to that) and you get 2 vegetarian curries (you pick), daal (a lentil type soup), the potato salad type thing (can't remember what it is called-but it is delicious!), rice, and dessert...enough of everything to have left-overs. The dessert was the only thing that I wouldn't want again, as, although it was tasty, like a funnel cake, it is most obviously not healthy at all--loads of sugar and deep fried! Perhaps this can be substituted, I am going to ask about this next time...
Also, if you like spicy food, they pull it off very well. Don't be brave and go for spicier than you think you can handle because it will probably be too spicy...you can always get hot sauce on the side (which is very tasty but VERY hot) if it isn't spicy enough...but it probably will be.
The momos are amazing too and the naan is good as well. I am not a naan expert (by any means) but this one is sweeter and softer than what I've had before--to add, as you might expect, the naan has milk in it.
Anyway, very good, and if you like this but are closer to the Seward neighborhood, the Himalayan is another delicious Nepalese restaurant!
Only had the falafel, it was okay, not great...service was slow and the restaurant was extremely hot. The falafel comes with tahini though which is good. I have not tried the vegan baklava that someone mentioned but that does sound pretty good...
This restaurant is not only delicious but very vegetarian, in particular vegan, friendly. Try the veg momos for an appetizer, you will be very happy you did...Also, the owner and staff are wonderfully nice and very helpful.
There are no more words needed for this place...it is simply spectacular. It is still somewhat new so I def. recommend supporting it so it can stay in business--it would be a tragedy to lose this place.
This restaurant has some tasty and cheap vegetarian options...the falafel sandwich is HUGE for the price and very tasty (have to ask next time if this sandwich is vegan or not as it has a creamy type sauce on it (NOT the white gyro sauce) but it seems like it might be dairy free, possibly tahini or baba-ganouj, I couldn't exactly tell when mixed with the falafel, tomatoes, and lettuce...). There are great combo deals too, where you can get 2 sides (like baba-Ganouj, tabouli, hummus, etc.) with your sandwich for cheap. There is a buffet too (have not tried). Also, the owner is SUPER nice and the restaurant is somewhat hidden so business is slow, I recommend going in here to keep it in business!
Nothing special about this restaurant, pretty much the same as every other Americanized Chinese restaurant...decent prices though if you are looking for a cheap Chinese restaurant and also the staff is friendly.
this should be the only place you buy your sex-toys, accessories, etc. Best sex store anywhere (at least around this part of the country and probably in a lot of the country for that matter!). A sex store that actually cares about providing safe, non-toxic, sex toys...in fact it pretty much started awareness spreading about sex toy toxicity. Anyway, aside from all this the atmosphere is inviting and accepting of everyone with staff that were knowledgeable and friendly. I really enjoyed the experience of this store, especially when comparing it to others of its kind--the Smitten Kitten is leagues ahead. And as noted by others, it is vegan friendly.
