The Hard Times is one of the things that I actually miss about Minnesota, having relocated to CA not long ago. I used to make daily runs for the vegan pancakes and the vegan tempeh gyro is to die for. Unlike some people I know, I actually love the atmosphere. I've met some very unusual and dear friends there. They have a pretty good library too if you forgot to bring that favorite read. I always knew that if I suddenly had the urge to hear the pogues, eat tofu, and read Anais Nin at 3am, I had a place to go.
