One of the best vegan restaurants in the world. If there's an English speaker behind the counter, ask them for the story about the place.
It wasn't the most amazing vegan meal but totally a place I would keep in mind if I had gotten hungry in that area again. The grocery store portion has some neat items I hadn't seen before.
If I had to guess, I'd say this place isn't around anymore.
Worst service ever for an Indian joint. Requested some items to be prepared vegan, only to learn that they ignored our request once the food came out. Showed up late once to order take out, at first they complained that they were to close to closing time (30 minutes) but eventually gave us menus. After browsing the menu for about a minute we were kicked out, said we were taking too long.
Avoid this place, there's much better Indian food else where in the bay.
The place has changed owner ship, and the menu. Not super vegan friendly anymore. Talked with someone who worked their, he had no idea where the old Mekong went. Sad. RIP Mekong.
Really good. Was rather blown away by their menu. Kind of a nice direction on vegan Italian, a lot less pasta and pizza.
Rather lovely little spot, well hidden I suppose. A really nice, for the most part health meal for lunch. Small but nice beer selection. They were helpful in picking out good vegan items even though I had shown up late. Sadly no vegan deserts.
Awesome little spot. Had a few vegan items for the day. Their soup is apparently vegan everyday. The Stuffed zucchini is tasty.
Over priced. Their vegan sloppy joe at $8 was nothing more then two slices of bread and pasta sauce, no sides, hardly healthy. Slow service, dirty shop. Stay away.
Showed up while experiencing one of those low blood sugar moments where all you evening plans evaporate and you're left there unable to coherently make conscious decisions,
Very nice place. The have an entirely separate vegan menu which I rather appreciated. Items are pricy but well worth it. Service was extremely friendly, offered some good suggestions.
Wish I had time to go for seconds.
Earth Mother was great, they tend to have a hand full of vegan slices at the ready.
Great pizza, extremely good beer. Was open late. Caught them during a road trip up to Seattle. Will hit them again if I pass by.
A little pricy but the beer selection is worth it. Fries were a bit of a disappointment.
As much as I'm not a fan of raw only food, the dishes here were extremely tasty. The staff friendly, I ended up spending more time than I intended to hanging out there away from SXSW.
