The jerk chicken (ask for without honey if you are vegan) and the fried plantains were good. Portions were a bit smaller then shown in the pictures. Make sure the get the large portions or extra sides if you are hungry.

Excellent food. I had the breakfast scramble which was mostly vegetable (kale and carrot) based with interesting tofu in a peanut sauce. Not typical and very healthy and good. The vegan soft serve is also good.

Good food, large portions. Friendly staff. The strawberry lemonade, pancakes, tofu salad, and baked goods are great. The only downside is that vegan cheese substitutes are not offered. You can substitute avocado for free, but I can't imagine a grilled avocado sandwich being quite the same.

Bye and Bye in Portland, Oregon

Great place, nice atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. This is a bar and they focus primarily on drinks, but they do have a food menu with eight entrees and a few sides. The meatball sub and eastern bowl were very good.

This is used to be a good place to eat but the new owners have raised prices and lowered quality.

This is a limited place to go if you are vegan. Most things seem to be dairy based. Almost nothing is labeled, the staff does not know what is vegan, the "vegan" cheese has casein, so there is not much for a vegan to eat besides fruit and salad without dressing. Update: They now have refrigerated sushi that is vegan as well as packaged food from Sweet Lemon which is vegan.

Neat store, owners are very friendly, great samosas here!

Try the vegan mango coconut drink. It is so good! The food is good too, they have quite a few vegan options. The lunch special is cheap and always vegan.

The salads are really interesting and good and the wraps are great. Salads also comes with a raw cracker. A nice healthy meal, unless you wander over to Sip for a vegan milkshake!

Great food, large portions, very vegan friendly. Good selection of vegan baked goods.

This is a small restaurant with a limited menu. At this point they only have one vegan dish. They claimed they would expand their menu on July 25 but no new vegan dishes were added. They also changed their one vegan dish so that it is inedible to me. I was very disappointed and I don't think I will be back.

The bowl is pretty good. You can get a vegan bowl with extra avocado to make up for the cheese and sour cream. Unfortunately the cookies they have for sale are not vegan.

I know this place is far out, but it is worth making the trip. The food is excellent, very vegan friendly, we loved everything we tried.

Tao of Tea in Portland, Oregon

Great place to come and talk with friends. Huge selection of tea. They also have non-tea beverages and a food menu with snacks, sides, entrees, and deserts. Unfortunately most of the food is not vegan. All but one of the desserts had honey. The tea we had was very good, as was the hummus and pita and banana dessert.

I love the weekday lunch buffet. It's only $6.50 for all you can eat spring rolls, lo mien, tempura, soup, fried rice and other food that changes everyday. It is the best!

I am not a fan. It is way to hard to find out what is vegan in the deli and bakery section. Just go to a vegetarian store and don't bother combing through the animal products here.

This was the best falafel sandwich I ever had. It was really difficult to not eat the one I bought for my boyfriend.

Not vegetarian anymore, they added dead chicken to the menu. Big disappointment. Skip this one and go to the one in Milwaukee.
