a mish-mash of not-that-great north indian versions of south indian food. the sambar is absolutely abysmal, unrecognizable as sambar; the idlis are like door stops instead of fluffy clouds, and vada inedible. food often lukewarm rather than hot or cold. SO conveniently located but a real disappointment; still worth the trip to Nalapak (the old Udupi). Moreever, the manager (or whoever he is) kind of creepy and leering. On one visit, I mentioned a hair in my food. "Oh, you really can't help that sort of thing in a kitchen," he said. Yikes.
