Rather basic fair - I had "American Pancakes" which were alright, but nothing fancy. The staff seemed rather ambivalent to our presence and it took 30 minutes just to get two pancakes for breakfast though there was only one other party there at the spot.
The place itself looks a bit run down, but has a sort of edgy flair to it. The artwork for sale was pretty cool, but the food was nothing to write home about.
It was fairly easy to find. It was right off of the Dam Square so it was filled at the time with other Americans - the hostess was very friendly about checking which items on the menu were Vegan friendly - though only three or four of the menu items looked to be so.
You should ask though, as nothing is marked as being specifically Vegan.
I had a delicious Humus sandwich on brown bread and a chai tea with soya milk.
The service was slow but very friendly - I chalked that up to Amsterdam cafe style, which was fine because I wasn't in a hurry.
Extremely friendly staff - I went for the apple pie based on one of the other recommendations, and they were right! The best apple pie a vegan can get (outside of my wife's homemade...) Definitely worth the wait, but there was a wait... But as was mentioned before, Good Food Takes Time.
I only wish they were open for lunch.
