everyone i know who is Ethiopian says this is their favorite restaurant and i really enjoy this place. if you are in rush don't come here on weekend during peak hours. the food is lovely and the wait staff has been helpful with my friends who bring here, answering questions and being helpful. the veggie sampler gets mad props.
confused by low ratings. this is my favorite thai in the twin cities.i feel most Thai restaurants here get so much hype for average overpriced food. pra ram rong song is E2 on the menu, my boyfriend loves this dish. the spicy noodle dish is my favorite. i bring lots of people here and i haven't had a bad time ever. i usually just try to avoid the dinner rush or do take out if its around 630 to 730. granted the restaurant is not overstaffed but peace out your just there for dinner. relax. also the restaurant is really pretty.
best babahganoush ever, and i used to live in new york.. home of my favorite $2.50 falafel sandwiches. zaytoons in brooklyn is the best middle eastern. this place is my favorite in the twin cities. vegetarian plate is delish but that salad that comes with it has cheese so get it without.
vegan comfort food at it's best! make sure you order mushroom broth so it's vegan. kids love this place. it's inexpensive and lovely. highly suggested.
i totally agree with cecil. i'm from california. i used to shop there. i stopped by this one on my way home from edina and was so disappointed. i had a basket with bread and cereal i planned on buying but i had a weird craving for processed fake meat in a sandwich. the selection at trader joe's doesn't exist. this store is for yuppies. not really worth the trouble to shop here unless you are nearby enough to walk and so long as you aren't vegan.
lynn, you re not the only one who has dealt with the completely rude owner. he usually takes your take out order on the phone. he is inexcusable. friends had raved about this place to me before. i tried it and did indeed think it was good but nothing exceptional. i though it was on the expensive side. a dollar or two more than im used to spending on vegan thai entrees. i used to do take out quite a bit because i was close. i put up with the owner who was rude every time i called my order in. his wife is so friendly and actually likes customers. but i no longer go to this restaurant at all now because i asked the owner about a dish. i wanted to make sure there were no eggs in it. he said they never make it with egg but of course when i got My order home, there was egg in it.

average and overpriced. also paper napkins? your local Asian takeout is a better bet for affordable food with bigger portions, and probably better service.
