If you are a fan of mock meat and dairy dishes, you will love this restaurant. It has some excellent imitations: try the breaded shrimp and chicken fingers for example. If you like more organic, fresh vegetable-based, less-processed meals, however, this may not be suitable.
Yoshimatsu used to serve consistently fantastic food. Although they did not have an expanded vegan/veg menu, their select options were so delicious! In the past few months, however I've noticed a decline in the quality of food. I've been going there for over a year and a half and am sorely disappointed by this. I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed.

This restaurant is extremely popular in Tucson; so my review is really in the minority. I thought the meals here were very sub-par and like the previous reviewer noted plates are obstructed with huge amounts of 'garnish'. I did not think it was a good value at all and felt our money could have been spent on two or three nights of dining at more satisfactory locales.
