Excellent, inexpensive Southern Indian cuisine! OK, the ambiance is pretty non-existent, and the plastic cutlery isn't very exciting - but get it as take out, plate it at home and pair up some of their amazing dishes with a great bottle of wine and you're set!
Excellent vegetarian takes on old-school diner classics! They're also open late, so after a night out in New Haven, this is a great place to stop.
The best falafel joint in the city, hands down. Just don't get grossed out by the giant hunk of lamb cooking in the back!

Inventive, artfully prepared and original vegetarian and vegan cuisine. A place I love taking friends and family. They also have a great beer and wine selection, with a good handful of them being organic!
