Just your average mini-mall Thai restaurant except the food is Indonesian. The food isn't bad, but it sure made me crave some of the better Thai restaurants around. Not nearly as good as the Indonesian food served in Amsterdam.
Not to be confused with the original North Hollywood location, this restaurant has most of the same menu, but none of the reasons to return.
Leonor's menu features many vegetarian dishes that are well described, but blandly executed. The soups are merely okay, the salads are much larger than their flavors demand, and the wet burritos can fill an empty stomach without inspiring much. However, Leonor's makes 3 things that I tend to dream about: fully refreshing flax seed tea, chunky guacamole, and vegan pizzas with biscuity crusts. I'm getting hungry just typing this.
Note: The good things about Leonor's don't really apply to the Studio City location.
The greatest thing about this restaurant is that it consistently provides an exciting menu for the largest number of picky eaters. Every combination of appetites that I have accompanied to the Newsroom has left happy and satisfied. They have great breakfasts, great lunches, great dinners. This has become my go-to restaurant.
The only beef I've ever had with them is that they've served flavored coffee for regular.

The food is so-so and the cafeteria style doesn't help. Much of the fare offered looks exactly like what a meat-eater fears: mushy, unrecognizable gloop.
