I'd like to review this restaurant more completely but cannot b/c they refused to serve me. Yes, I was presentable. I arrived one morning and waited for service and waited and waited and waited. I counted seven people: hostesses, waiters, cooks, etc. who entered and left the dining area without stopping to wait on me. The interior of the restaurant was pretty touristy, but I never got to sample the food, so I can't judge it, but I can judge the service. ATROCIOUS. RUDE. Perhaps it was my lack of diamond jewelry?

Wonderful vegan restaurant. A true refuge. Relaxed atmosphere. Minimalist decor. Great quality food. Plan to return!

Best vegetarian menu ever. Drinks, Smoothies, lunches, dinners, something for everything. Utterly delicious and health food! So many choices. A mecca for any vegan or vegetarian. Service was good too. The only downside was the blah 1970s decor. But so what! This is an awesome restaurant.

I adore this place. Relaxed atmostphere, friendly, good service. Not vegetarian, but lots of veggie friendly options. Excellent quality food, very fresh, delightful breakfast spot in a great location. It's one of my fave places to eat in Asheville.

I really liked it a lot the one time I visited. I was so happy to find another veggie place in Chapel Hil.. Our food was delicious, and the price and service was fine. The decor was nice, nothing special but pleasant. However -- I have heard from several others that the quality and service is quite unpredictable. The management's response left something to be desired. So, I will probably not return unless there are some changes made. Sad, b/c I really want this restaurant to succeed.

Several years ago, my partner and I had a wonderful meal here and thought it might become a new favorite whenever we were in Raleigh. However, on the very next visit, we got a pizza with soy cheese. Not only was the pizza nondescript, but the olive slices were extremely stale-tasting. Now this is a common problem, but that doesn't make the flavor any better. When we mentioned this to the manager/owner? we got attitude. That was the last time we visit Lilly's. A better choice? The excellent vegetarian sandwich shop next door called The Third Place.

This is the type of place that should be outstanding. After all, there are a lot of vegetarian possibilities in Mexican cuisine. Although vegetarian restaurants are much-welcomed in this area, there are several that are just okay, nothing more. Sadly Margaret's falls into this category. The last time I went, we had something with brown rice and black beans. I don't remember much flavor, only saltiness and starch. It's all about the ingredients. Without some creativity in the kitchen, and careful quality control of ingredient freshness, it's just the same old thing everywhere. I hope Margaret's has improved since my last visit.

I have eaten here twice and enjoyed the ambiance and the food but there are very few vegan or vegetarian options. I specifically asked if tofu or soy chicken could be substituted for some of the meat & seafood options. The waitperson courteously said, no, I'm sorry. If that was possible, I'd visit more often. It's a very appealing restaurant otherwise.

Absolutely delicious Mideast food. Quick, well-prepared, friendly people, good variety. An excellent choice for a vegan lunch!

Delicious food in a nice setting, but portions are small, prices high, and menu options very limited. Mostly meat & seafood, maybe ONE veggie item available. The last time we were there, we got grilled heirloom tomatoes with little else and it set us back $50. The servers tend to be rude and the service very slow.
I'm not that keen on the yuppie snob thing, so I probably won't return. Also, I think it's supposed to be PanZANella.

A great option for vegetarians and vegans. Mostly vegan & the vegetarian can be made vegan easily. Delicious Persian ethnic dishes, entrees & lunch options, including tempe, soy chicken, seitan. Try the OSH.
Small, quiet, great decor, an excellent choice before the theater or while doing errands in the shopping center. Limited menu. Have gone back over and over again. A favorite.

I have only eaten here once but it was the best Indian food I've ever eaten. And all vegetarian or vegan!!! Super delicious, reasonably priced, decor and setting not much, so bring friends and discuss the great cafe-style dishes. You WILL eat too much! Legendary!

Some of the best vegetarian food in the area. Always well-prepared, fresh, abundant with a great variety. Not the best setting, but if you want delicious, excellent quality vegan or vegetarian food served cafe-style, you can hardly go wrong. Then you can do a little shopping afterwards!
