Having eaten Ethiopian from Germany to San Francicso, it would be hard for a Pgh eatery to live up to the best (Meskerem, in Adams Morgan / DC). Not the worst, though!

Not huge portions, and not inexpensive, but a good introduction to this interesting cuisine.

They can make anything veg, by putting in tofu. Try the Crispy Tofu Triangles -- our daughter would have eaten many plates of these!

Sister restaurant of Lemon Grass, but food was better and no chaos in the kitchen!

Went with another family, everyone shared and liked food. Was willing to be careful to make sure certain dishes were gluten-free (even no soy sauce that has wheat) for one person. Good time all around, if you are in the mood for Thai / don't want to go down the street to Hunan Kitchen.

Great stuff -- our favorite place in Pgh. Our 12-year-old daughter, vegan her whole life, loves it, too. Take your favorite meat-eater here!

Great stuff, at any place we've been to in the country. We each get an order of the lettuce wraps, then split the tofu dish. Fun, good service, good decor, and good food. Easily the best place down at the Waterfront.

Had read lots of glowing reviews, took family and two meat-eaters there. Service was slow, there was very little fake meat in the dishes, and the portions were not huge. Food wasn't bad, but not overly impressive.

Eaten many meals at the Fox Chapel one (nearest place to us), and only one not-really-good meal. Taken many many meat eaters there, too, and people who don't normally like Thai. Almost always great food and good service. (Still like Hunan Kitchen better, but that is much further away.)

Cheap, filling, and good.
