We were amazed to find this place while driving through Maine (there are three other locations in Gardiner, Portland, and Brunswick). The middle-aged couple (both vegan) who run the place are charming. The buffet (5-6 hot entrees plus soup and salad bar) is amazing, filling, and a huge bargain at $5. Be sure to get a couple of cookies ($0.60) and a bag of phenomenal corn chips to go.

This place is incredible. You must try the buffalo wings. And the disco fries (called poutine if you have been to Montreal).
