Unfortunately for my family and myself, this restaurant fell flat for us. The food was nothing to write home about, and the atmosphere was cold and uninviting. The lighting in the restaurant was dim. We were seated in the back room at first, with no windows, and artificial lights. We asked to be moved, and it took them awhile to move us. The Hawaiian Fried Rice was poorly made, with only 5 small pieces of pineapple, and tiny frozen peas and carrots added. They were skimpy on the tofu. The other tofu entrees my family had were bland. The fruit smoothies my kids had were artificially flavored, and over sweetened. We were disappointed. Hopefully Bay Leaf will improve.
I've eaten here 3 times now, and I love the food, and the atmosphere. Eating out as a vegan, and finding good living raw food is difficult. Blossoming Lotus makes it a wonderful experience. The staff are sweet and friendly. Being inside Yoga in the Pearl is lovely. There's a nice little water fountain to sit by, and healthy people surrounding you. The juice bar is a huge plus. One of the only places in Portland where you can get wheat grass juice. The watermelon cooler juice is also delicious. I recommend this restaurant to everyone, veggie or not!
I had lunch there, and the food was wonderful. Delicious wrap, and sandwiches. Loved it.
This is a good place to go if you a- have cash, b- are downtown, and c- want a lot to eat for a small price. I enjoy their food.
I love New Seasons. I shop there 3-4 times a week. They have sales every day, and great samples. When they say The Friendliest Store In Town, they're not kidding. They have a low turnover, so you get to know the employees. They become your friends. Local, organic produce, knowledgeable staff. I just wish they had more vegan options in their deli, and a juice bar!
This is not a vegetarian restaurant. The only item I felt was edible was the tofu scramble. The rest of the food is just plain bad. It was bad 10 years ago, and it's still bad today.
This is a small co-op. But the staff are friendly and helpful, and they have good organic food in their bulk section. Quite a bit of living raw food. I love going there on Wednesdays for the farmer's market. It's a sweet little place.
I'm not impressed. The food was bland, even tasteless. It left me with indigestion.
This restaurant is ok. The atmosphere is cold and bland, with artificial lighting. The staff is alright. The food is very processed, and some dishes are greasy. The cashew chicken is the best dish on the menu in my opinion. Eat here if you are in the area and there are no other restaurants open.
