Bangkok Thai has the largest vegetarian menu in the city. They can make almost all of these items vegan and they are clearly marked. Make sure to ask for the vegetarian menu. They also prepare and cook the vegan items completely separate from the meat items. This is the best Thai food I've ever had including restaurants in other cities. They only use the freshest ingredients. My favorite dish is the spicy mint noodle. Some people I know say they have had bad service there, but the service has always been great for me. I suggest you go on Monday nights when they have "Meatless Mondays" because all vegetarian/vegan meals are $7.99.

I do not like Evergreen's food at all. It's not the cleanest place, either. They are completely vegan so I have to give them credit. Lots of other vegan like this restaurant, though.

Oasis Cafe is one of the nicest vegan friendly restaurants in Salt Lake. The menu changes with the seasons, but always includes vegan options. The food has always been delicious. My husband and I go to Oasis Cafe for special occasions or just to have a nice meal.

Royal India is my absolute favorite restaurant. They have the best Indian food and the service is great. They serve Northern Indian food and have a few Southern Indian selections. The owner and his father know exactly which dishes can be made vegan. They have always been extremely helpful. One of my vegan friends does not eat onions and garlic and has always been accommodated. If you are getting bread try the poori. I also suggest you try the masala dosa.
