I've eaten at this location and the Valencia one several times for dinner and it's good. But, the brunch at this one really sets it apart. It's so nice being able to go for a vegan brunch in this city, I'd just about accept anything, but this place actually makes it really good. I had the sausage biscuits and gravy which were really good.
Whenever I eat dinner here I get the chocolate or carrot cake for dessert. Even my non-veg friends think they have some of the best cake in the city and it's vegan. Yum!
I would like to see some specials on the dinner menu once in awhile.

This place rocks. The fact that us vegies (and non)can go out and enjoy a really nice, upscale, vegan dining experience is great.
The food here is delicious and the new location is perfect for a late night dessert after the theater.

This place is pretty good. It's not the cheapest place, but I guess for NY it's relative.
They have a varied menu, all vegan, except for their soy cheese which has casein and is used in a few dishes (it's indicated on the menu).
I had the Paradise Casserole which was delicious and I think one of their specialties. The Chocolate Mousse Pie was also delicious. And, I had to buy a cookie to go, which was great.
They also have an extensive juice bar and just opened a second location a few blocks away that I believe is a little pricier.
All in all, this is a great restaurant and the service and atmosphere are good too.
I haven't been here, but Moby is one of the owners, probably why there are pics of him everywhere.
Oh my, this place is soooo good. This was the top place to eat on my list when I visited NY last week and am I glad I went. Every city needs one of these.
The food was excellent, especially the Spinach Dumplings recommended by the waiter. I could live on these things. And the Treasure Balls, a complete treat. Everything the waiter recommended was excellent as was the service and the price. Plus, I was there alone and felt very welcomed and comfortable. I could have stayed all day!
Check this place out, you won't be sorry! Can't wait to visit NY again and eat here again.

This place is really good (it's my mom's favorite). It's reasonable, cute and the food is great. Some of the fake meat dishes taste the same, but the menu is so extensive, you can order a really varied meal. Plus, they have tons of specials everyday.
