We have never been disappointed at Midori's. The best value is over lunch when most entrees are $7-10 which include salad, soup, and entree. The Bento box is a really good introduction to Japanese. They have some of the most extensive tea selection of any restaurant. Also it's kid friendly - they will bring out a cup of rice to kids while waiting for the food. They really understand vegan and are happy to explain or adjust ingredients.
I have been to Mysore 4 times over the last 2 months and the quality seems to be getting better and the vegan selections are growing. I've stopped ordering off the menu and go for the Friday/Saturday night buffets for $11.99 plus tax. They allow take-out for the buffets which come with 1 dosa and a very large and small container. It's enough to feed 3 of us. Last night there were 10 vegan entrees plus appetizers, fruit, and chutneys. 3 were dishes I've never had before. Based on quality, service, and vegan selection I find it much better than the Vegetarian.

This continues to be my favorite Asian restaurant. There is no comparison to their quality versus most local Indian restaurants. All of the vegetables are fresh - nothing canned or frozen. The weekday brunch is the best in town and for $9 with tax is worth every penny. They always have a vegan soup, appetizer, 3-4 vegan entrees, small salad bar, and achar (chutney). Evenings are good too but more expensive and very busy on weekends.
