small cafe, more mom and pop, but food yummy. have great bakery selection, my son thought cupcake tasted like wedding cake, that good. menu is split half veggie and vegan, but they seem willing to alter according to preference. prices reasonable, especially considering use organic ingredients. located in same shopping center as mothers market. worth a try.
i have been to this store couple times, down the street from the new mothers market. great variety of wonderful eco products at reasonable prices. owner friendly, well informed. parking in back of building. worth a visit.
small place across street from beach off pch. very casual, surfer feel. owner usually present, very friendly. few seats, including outside, most people get to go. yummy vegan breakfast options, pancakes and veggie burrito, which is hard to find. my son loves the pasta, which is usually only served at night, but they always make exception. state which items on menu are vegan :)
This restaurant is simply wonderful. It has a comfortable, cozy atmosphere and especially nice is that dogs are welcomed, with outside patio seating available. I also appreciate that it is so easy to request my order to be vegan and not worry that the staff will not understand (or care/be rude) and include dairy.. they take great care to get it right AND respect your request. The best item I have tried so far is the no-tuna sandwich, so good!! I am really happy with that menu item since after becoming vegan the only animal food I still crave is tuna, so thank you. The food is fresh and healthy, light and not fried. And to top it off, they have a breakfast menu, which for vegans is very hard to find and be able to enjoy.
this place is closed, owner sold business, moved out of state.
