This place is cool because it has vegan pastries and desserts. They also make their own soda. Too bad the food is not as impressive. I hated the seitan and was not so enthusiastic about the asian rice bowl.
Absolutely delicious food! The people there are soo soo nice and very knowledgeable. They were able to answer all of our questions. Several mock meat dishes to choose from and even the Mango Lassis are vegan...yum!
Also they have a check out library of animal rights related books...sweet!
Well at first glance this is a cute little shop. I asked if they knew what on the menu was vegan, they said yes, yay! Contrary to my belief, they didn't even know what vegan was. The manager proceeded to tell me that aside from the milk powder in their breads and pizza crusts that it was in fact vegan....negative. We walked out!
Aside from the prices, I loved this place! Jon was very helpful and even called restaurants in the area for us to find yummy vegan food! I will definitely go back!
Great flavors! They even mixed mine so I had chocolate banana. My fiance has strawberry banana. I'm going to go back for pineapple coconut.
Awesome place! The first time we went there we ordered one of the thali dinners (lots of variety). The waitress understood we were vegan and was very helpful at selecting out substitutes for some of the non vegan items the thali came with. Try the masaala dosa, aloo gobi and samosa...they're all amazing!!!
